Final Order Total
The total amount displayed when you place an order is an estimation. The final amount due will be based on the actual weight of the items you receive. We will attempt to select packages to average out to the estimated total, but this is not always possible. The final total may be higher or lower by up as much as 20%. Please include a note on your order if you have a specific request or maximum total.
Package sizes
Due to natural variations in the sizes of particular cuts, we may include extra packages to reach the estimated total weight of a line item. For example, an order containing 10 packages of chicken breasts with an estimated weight of 10 lbs, may receive 12 packages totaling 9.75 lbs.
Dry Ice Warning
Most of our shipments contain Dry Ice which should be handled appropriately. Do not handle Dry Ice with bare hands as it can cause freeze burns. Dispose of any remaining Dry Ice in a well-ventilated area. If you have any sensitivities to Carbon Dioxide, you might consider having a friend or neighbor open your package for you. Once the remaining Dry Ice has been removed the gas will dissipate quickly.
